A) Ron English vs. Camel & McDonalds: Discuss how Ron English conveys social criticism in his illegal billboards.



B)Below are a Two non-commercial visual arguments from Greenpeace.org . Consider and discuss the goal and role of visual design there.
For each video answer the following questions:
- What do you see? What is it about? To what does it relate? How is it composed? What detatils matter? (these are the qustions from Beyond Words, p. 428)
- What is the target audience? How do you know it?
Then synthesize your observations:
- What messages are constructed in these videos? What is similar about these arguments? What is different? Are they equally effective?
